Ashleigh Fitzhugh has worked within the park, leisure and mobile home industry since 1993.
The first appointment was working for Tingdene Homes Limited as a trainee inspector on homes that needed refurbishment. Tingdene Homes Limited are the countries largest manufacturer and refurbisher of park homes. The refurbishment work they carried out was not only on Tingdene Homes but every other make and model ever produced. Ashleigh’s work included analysing the faults, causes and how the home could be improved. In under 2 years, Ashleigh became the senior inspector and grew to know how the home could be improved and refurbished to grant the homes an extended life. This also led to knowing when homes could not be improved due to deterioration on key parts of the structure and having full knowledge of how the homes were built and methods used.
In 1996 Ashleigh moved to another specialist company called Prestige Developments Ltd and helped expand the company into the market leaders in refurbishment and the largest company by some way. Ashleigh’s knowledge of Park Homes was increased further by working on site on the odd occasion to gain hands on experience.
Leaving in 1999 to start the company called Pinnacle where they also became a highly respectable refurbishment company and started to carry out inspections of park homes. Ashleigh worked alongside a company called Blue Chip Services who had a good name in the industry for the quality of their inspections and when the owner decided to retire due to health reasons Ashleigh bought the company and released interest in Pinnacle.
Ashleigh is now the principle surveyor for Blue Chip Park Homes Limited and to date carried out over 6,000 survey inspections.
